Bari, 1:00 pm, 5 minutes from Hi Hotel. "Hi, what do you recommend? Well, it's in Bari, so what could I recommend if not a dish of raw seafood? " Here, I tell myself, I am ruined! Gianni immediately understood what my tastes are! "How nice", I think, when in one place they get in a few minutes what you want for lunch and Gianni was convinced that I liked the raw seafood, like everyone does here, I think. Basically, if you don't like raw seafood, you're not from Bari! The manager Gianni is there to greet me and with his grace and precision of a real manager tells me a little about the story of Giampà. A story of two brothers with little experience in the restaurant business, decide to carry on the work and the effort that their third brother, who died too soon. So Giampà was born out of a desire for redemption, an emotional redemption for those who inherited a job too soon and who proved to be able to carry it forward but above all to make Giampà today one of the reference points in Poggiofranco: welcoming, with desire to satisfy everyone's desire and taste. Giampà is a large container of flavours and fragrances, from pizza to raw scampi, from Tomahawk (to my incredulous face for this strange word, Gianni reveals to me that it is an ax-shaped beef rib) to a dish of taste American, eggs and bacon.
